What makes a good story?

What makes a good story?

A good story is like a tasty soup. It follows a recipe with a handful of ingredients that all blend together. Firstly, the story needs to create a character and have to make for a good storyline. We have to choose one main character like a hero and the storyline have to be created one genre like romance or thriller. From my mind, I think a good story needs to choose accurate and precise words. Moreover, the setting also will make a good story. Set the story in a place and time that will be interesting. As storytellers, our task is to involve the audience, make them interact with us and the story, even if it is just in their thoughts. A really good story has a sense of truth and reverberates with some basic universal phases of being human. I think good story is like a good film. It should make the readers to laugh and it should make them to cry. Mystery stories as science fiction should have emotion and suspense to be a good one. There are different types of stories and different types of people, so we have to decide what makes a good story for readers. From my view, all good stories create some sort of emotion within the reader. Futhermore, we need to make a connection with the readers.
